Back to The Captain's Table

a bird standing next to a body of water

This fantastic photo was taken by Michael Landrum. The weather is fantastic, the heat has finally broken and it is a pleasure to be outside. I am afraid the web worms are back again. They are supposed to arrive on a seven year cycle but something has changed and this is the second year we have suffered them. They strip all the vegetation from the Cypress Trees which spoils the Fall photo season. Apart from that, they hang from the trees on a web, like a spider, and cover the boat. I don’t think they are that bad yet, and we are hoping that they are not as bad as last year. Come and enjoy the weather by relaxing on an informative and educational, even sometimes funny, tour of this magical lake. Don’t forget the camera and binoculars.
