We hope you all had a good Memorial Weekend. We had a busy time and met lots of wonderful people, the weather behaved too. We had a gator swimming up and down the river, which excited everyone eating on the porch at Big Pines Lodge. The high water has them dislodged from their usual hide-outs. The water has receded from it’s low level flooding and we are praying that all the rain this week does not repeat the flooding. We are still able to tour due to the fact that we operate from a floating dock, we just have to go really slow in order to respect the property owners.
