All at Captain Ron’s Swamp Tours would like to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving, have a wonderful time and stay safe. Once again we have a strange weather pattern. The Cypress Trees were just turning one day and a couple of days later they were brown. I am assuming the drop in temperature to 25° had something to do with the trees turning so fast. It is very difficult to predict and we use last year as our criteria, this did not work very well for this year. Right now the trees are beautiful but if we have another strong front come through then that may strip the needles. When the leaves are gone it showcases the Spanish Moss which is wonderful as it sways in the breeze. We will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays all through the winter so come and witness Caddo in the raw. Don’t forget your binoculars and camera as you will be making some memories.
