We have 229 bird species on this lake, according to Don Henly. Don grew up in Linden, Texas and spent a large part of his childhood on Caddo Lake. He founded the Caddo Lake Institute in order to take care of this natural wonder and he has injected money and time into it’s conservation. At the moment the guides are seeing a lot of birds as some prepare for migration and others stop by on their way south. Come see us and check out how many species of birds you can spot. Don’t forget your camera and binoculars, we look forward to seeing you.
