We are about to transition into summer but the cooler weather is still with us. We may have had the wettest spring on record but we cannot complain about the cooler temperatures. We are thankful that the flood is behind us now and the ground is drying up. As the weather warms it is the perfect time to take a boat tour. It is always a few degrees cooler on the water than on land. The boat has a cover to keep the sun off our passengers but there are still some open spaces for those that like to bask in the rays. The lake is particularly beautiful at this time of year so come with your camera and binoculars to soak up the sights. While you are here why not have a great meal at Big Pines Lodge Restaurant.
